Tracy Sheldrick is the Manager of the Allied Health Workforce team at the Department of Health, Victoria. With over 24 years of experience in healthcare, she brings a deep understanding of the continuum of care and the evolving role of allied health professionals. Tracy began her work at the Department as a Clinical Specialist Adviser, leading the Allied Health Advanced Practice Project to explore standardise approaches across the sector.
A qualified speech pathologist, Tracy has held a range of clinical and leadership roles in the public health system and brings research experience that informs her evidence-based approach to workforce development. She holds postgraduate qualifications in health professional education and a Master’s in Healthcare Leadership. Her interests include allied health workforce development, rural and regional healthcare, leadership, healthcare communication, aphasia, and education.
