Invitation to Attend

We are delighted to welcome you to Australia’s capital for the 2027 International Allied Health Conference (IAHC), incorporating the 17th National Allied Health Conference (NAHC).

Under the theme Innovate, Integrate, Inspire: The Next Era of Allied Health, this landmark event will bring together allied health professionals, researchers, educators, leaders, policymakers and students from across Australia and around the world.

Canberra provides an ideal setting to exchange ideas, strengthen professional connections, and explore new opportunities for allied health. Home to national institutions, leading research organisations, and a vibrant health and education sector, the city offers an inspiring environment for collaboration, innovation, and forward-thinking dialogue.

Beyond the conference, visitors can experience Canberra’s unique blend of culture, natural beauty, and welcoming spaces. From nationally significant museums and galleries to renowned food and wine regions and stunning natural landscapes, the region showcases the diversity and spirit of Australia.

As we share new evidence, challenge existing thinking, and build international partnerships, we invite you to take time to explore all that Canberra and the surrounding region have to offer.

We look forward to welcoming you to an engaging and energising conference that will spark new ideas, strengthen connections, and help shape the next era of allied health.

Artist statement

My artwork explores connection, Country, nature, identity and the relationships between people and the places we belong to.

I draw inspiration from my connections with Australian native plants, animals, land, skies and waterways; translating these elements into a contemporary visual language through bold colour, organic forms, layering and movement.

My work is created with respect for shared cultural knowledge, stories and connections that inform it. Individual artworks may contain specific symbolism and meaning, and their interpretation and reproduction should therefore remain connected to the context in which they were created.

My artwork is available for selected digital, educational, cultural, commercial and community applications by agreement with me. Copyright remains with me unless otherwise agreed in writing
